Welcome!

Now, does anyone want to be the UK contact so I can send a big batch of stuff there in one shipment and have you distribute it for the club?

Hi Richard

very much welcomed to that beautiful TOS free club. Have fun and post as much as you can.

@Stephen I asked a while ago to be the swiss contact, but never received an answer. I still would be happy to be Nr. 0 in switzerland ;-)

Mark,
I knew that you would volunteer, I think we are kindred souls. OK, great. Swiss Walter yes, you are now the Swiss contact for CBSAP...of course I think youa re the only one from Switzerland in the club, but you're now in charge in your country..:)

Mark, when it comes time I will advertise for UK needs and then just send them all to you. It runs me about $75 US dollars to send a box to the UK of up to 20 lbs. It will save the club a great deal if I can just send it all to you and yiou distribute it. Of couirse I will pay for postage there if you need it. Ill let you know. COngratulations Mr. President of the UK branch of the CBSAP outreach club...:) or is it King?

Hi Stephen

thank you very much, I'm honored. For the moment I might be the only swiss, but I'm sure you will get more members of switzerland and liechtenstein. Ahhhhhh I forgot to mention that switzerland and Liechtenstein have the same toll and laws and can be treathed as a bundle. So I'm calling my self now solar consul of solarastronomy.org and charliebates.org of switzerland and liechtenstein :-)

Today I have arranged for interested people of a big company in liechtenstein to visit the sun plenatarium at wolfhalden in the coming spring. They are very hot to get your sun glasses ;-) (I hope it's more than that)

Thank you all, glad to be onboard.
I bow down to Mark, the UK President.....
Its the best way to go Stephen, when I import items from America its always more cost efficent to get them to stuff the box as full as they can as its the same shipping for a half full box.
Speaking personally I would be more than happy to donate the postage cost of anthing I receive to the club, it would make me feel like I am helping in my own small way.
I know time is more valuable, and in this day and age, nobody seems to have time to say hello anymore, but get a scope out and people stop and chat for a few minutes. They feel good and you feel good that they have seen somthing that will stay with them for ever....
