Shipment to Tunisia

Post by solarchat »

Im going to send my 5 inch triplet refractor, CGEM mount, two high end cameras, a battery charger and a laptop to my friends in Tunisia today for their program to use.

I am going to strongly support this country's unique (in the Arab world) focus on educating its citizens. It will cost about $1500 in shipping costs and I will pay for this with nonprofit funds and my personal funds if necessary. I will give them my personal telescopes as I have so much compared to them and If anyone would like to help sponsor the shipment, you know the link for paypal... no pressure, I know its tough out there and you all know I never pester people about money in my program, just letting you now that CBSAP will NOT stand by and watch while these incredible, vibrant and motivated people have nothing.
please use [email protected] for paypal or use the link at www.solarastronomy.org for your support.

What a tremendous gesture! It's brilliant to see such passion and generosity in action.

On a more selfish note...if you have no space for all that kit then I am more than happy to house a 5" triplet refractor for you! :D :D :D
