Solar Sunday Outreach
Ended up at the Mottino YMCA in Oceanside Ca. For Solar Sunday. A light trickle of about 20 folks between 9am and 2pm. About 6 pairs of CBSAP glasses given out to parents and kids. Was a lot of fun. As It was just me, the flow was a perfect leisurely day in the park. I did only one photo of a visitor as I was busy explaining stuff when others arrived. I haven't developed the discipline to talk and photograph (walk and chew gum) at the same time yet. Forgive me Stephen. A local aspiring politician was kind enough to pose for me.
You can see how I ride the meager PST (FD) next to the meager Quark for outreach. Also the 102mm as a whitelight. Shoestring outreach for sure..

Re: Solar Sunday Outreach
You are so funny Joe, your wit and humour must be just as entertaining as the Sun
Well done, you got further than me yesterday
As it was cloudy we went round to our neighbour's house instead, she struggles with the garden and has nothing but weeds. The hubby weeded the garden and I planted the equivalent of a few hundred pounds worth of flowers and plants in the borders for her which I had grown and divided from my own garden. Hopefully this has given her a little ray of sunshine on International solar sunday instead
