Big prominences from Gilmer County Library

Used the LS80 in single etalon mode to get some pics of the prominences on the 25th. It is amazing how much better the long focal length images are using the Hutech solar guider.

The seeing was terrible as usual with 95 degF and 100% humidity , here is a raw video of the proms in H-Alpha and Cak:

sorry for me that is good seeing (judging on the first movie)


Only stardust in the wind, some fine and some less fine scopes, filters and adapters as well. Switzerland 47 N, 9 E, in the heart of EUROPE :)
