I have done three days of outreach since Friday with the last two days in a remote state park so I didn't have internet.

Boy! Solar astronomy is fun when you have a monster group like the one we have now eh? I hate that I am having to go to Washington, D.C. Tue-Thursday now and will miss the 3 best days to observe this behemoth belching out flares. I will be at the Smithsonian National Observatory for at least one of those days so maybe I can use their Lunt LS100 to view it a little...:)

Only stardust in the wind, some fine and some less fine scopes, filters and adapters as well. Switzerland 47 N, 9 E, in the heart of EUROPE :)

from 7 am - 7 pm http://www.nanosys.ch

from 7.01 pm - 6.59 am http://www.wastronomiko.com some times vice versa ;)

What a fantastic array of pictures :hamster: :hamster: :hamster: I can imagine the big spot is a real crowd puller :) I wish I could see it too, how I hate work! It looks great through the eclipse glasses though :D
