CBSAP IN ACTION VIEWING THE MOON OXFORD, Al

Post by James0057 »

MOONTASTIC ! I had the honor of being invited to this annual event by a local family Anita & I know. This was 2 nights but starts just after Thanksgiving every night Mr Brown the Santa has a red sleigh, lights assorted goodies hot cocoa, pizza, brownies, cookies all free. several local businesses supply the goodies for Free. Families comes walk around give Santa their list & take pics with him. This year I brought my Meade LX90 the first night & the LUNT LS 152. The 2nd night. My phone battery drained the first night thereby the lack of pics. 2 great clear nights to view the MOON. The kids & adults were all excited as they looked at the Moon lots so WOWS as well. I've been invited to come back next year looking forward to it. About 400 folks the first night & 600. The 2nd I was told ! As always comments welcomed ! Thanks for looking & CLEAR SKIES ALWAYS !
