Boy Scout Camporee Outreach

Post by BobW »

On 05-21-16 I was invited to the spring camporee with a local Boy Scout group. After setting up around 3:00PM, Fifty to sixty scouts and adult leaders enjoyed great views of the sun in white and Ha light. Naturally the sun glasses were a hit. At twilight I put the LUNT 100 to bed and configured the Televue Genesis 100 for night time observation. We were treated to good looks at Jupiter, Mars and Full Moon. I'm not a fan of the full moon but you look at what you have. Clear sky's to all.
