Just a quick ISD report from the UK.
Once again I wanted to pick a "sidewalk astronomy" spot for Norwich Astronomical Society's ISD event. Annoyingly we were bumped from our normal spot but were offered space at a Green Festival hosted by Fairhaven Water Garden in South Walsham, Norfolk. Not exactly 'sidewalk' but, as the event was totally unrelated to astronomy, it was probably as good and the site is wonderful!
I began to set up just after the rain stopped at 9.30am and we cloud dodged all day, thankfully the weather held and there were plenty of breaks in the cloud for decent solar views. Four scopes set up, five at times. No sunspots so the white-light wasn't exciting but Ha compensated for that with some nice proms.
Footfall was good considering the weather. The interest shown by adults and children alike was great and they kept us all busy until 4pm.
Another good day of solar outreach for the CBSAP.
