congratulations, very impressive


Only stardust in the wind, some fine and some less fine scopes, filters and adapters as well. Switzerland 47 N, 9 E, in the heart of EUROPE :)

from 7 am - 7 pm http://www.nanosys.ch

from 7.01 pm - 6.59 am http://www.wastronomiko.com some times vice versa ;)

Hi Wah, they're even using your program in China. Interesting use of a 2nd video camera with the lens pointed at the slit. I've never seen that done before. To monitor the slit width? Or is it to check the position of the Sun on the slit? Or the focus of the Sun on the plane of the slit? Maybe all of the above?

Thank you all!

The person who made this SHG is a friend of mine, that was why he used the program that I wrote to merge the lines.
The 2nd camera was being use for helping the solar disk focusing, which I think is not necessary.

Then he has suggested QHY upgrading the capturing software for merging the line in real-time.
The advantage is fast, and the weakness is cannot deal with some spectrum problems such as smiling effect.
