G2 Geomagnetic Storm

Post by Carbon60 »

Hi All,

The early hours this morning (UT) brought a G2 class geomagnetic storm as a result of high speed solar wind. This sparked stunning aurora, as reported on Spaceweather.com and produced a strong response on my magnetometers, as shown below.

The storm has subsided now, so the chances of impressive aurora tonight are diminishing.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.
