Well done, mate!
Looks like you're getting good results from the SHG.

thx guys/gals I notice subtle differences between caK and caH
what is your opinion on difference?

I reprocessed
I have learned that even selecting exact line position on spectrum can effect outcome of image
caH redo notice little prom on right

The calcium II lines form a pair of resonance lines, like the sodium doublet(D1 and D2).
According to Gray and Corbally "Stellar Spectral Classification" they "....grow with decreasing temperatures down to spectral type K5 (4500K)...." They, and the Sodium D1/D2, Magnesium I triplet, Halpha as well as the CaII triplet lines 8498/8542/8662A are used to determine chromosphere activity in stellar systems. Zirin and others seem to "prefer" observing in CaK but with no reasons given....
Summary- there's no real difference between K and H lines for data content.

J-P,
The possible interference between the CaH line (3968A) and the nearby Hepi line (3970A) seems to be at least part of the reason for the selection of the CaK for observers.

good shot!

I think that improving slit focus, you would reach even better results...
