Not a huge event by any means, but still enough to twitch magnetometers around the globe, including my own modest one buried in my back garden here in the north-west of England.
Officially this was a G1 storm, which is the lowest NOAA classification for geomagnetic events http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/noaa-scales-explanation. Nevertheless, for those lucky enough to be within range, the event sparked beautiful bright aurora.

I saw some nice pictures of the aurora that resulted taken from Anglesey, so it certainly had an impact. Good capture of it Stu!

Spectacular I got some alerts but it seemed to be fading before late evening when I could have had a look.
