After some more improvement my new SHG is now seriously taking this week its 1st light

I think Vincent uses 6mm ply for the housing.
Great results!
What changes did you make to the imaging system??

Also I Notice That Grating Is Quite A Distance from lens

Vincent's original design is covered in Chapter 9.8 of "Imaging Sunlight"
The spacing between the grating and the optics is due to the choice of a small total angle (between the collimator and the imaging lens) to reduce the anamorphic factor (p 112) of the instrument.
