Minor Geomagnetic Storm 4th-5th Nov 2018

Post by Carbon60 »

Hi all,

The weekend ended with a minor geomagnetic storm as a result of fast flowing solar wind from several coronal holes.

Here are my magnetometer data.

I believe there's more activity to come as we continue to move through the wake of the wind stream. Good luck to those of you who may be in a good location to see the resulting Aurora.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Interesting results Stu, I saw on Spaceweather that there was a Kp6 storm last night but I didn't get any alerts. At least you detected it :)
