G1 Geomagnetic Storm

Post by Carbon60 »

Earth has just passed through a fast flowing solar wind stream, which generated a G1 geomagnetic storm and sparked up beautiful aurora to relatively low latitudes. Here's my magnetometer response.

Things have gone quiet again just now, but there will be more to come later in the month.

Thanks for looking.

Nice record of the event Stu. I look forward to the one that gives us some visuals here in the UK this solar cycle.
