Stellafane SHS - early imaging result

Hi,

For those interested, I attach here an animated GIF that is the output of the software being used in the Sol-Ex project to construct solar disc images from spectrohelioscope/graph slit images. It begins about 2A on the infrared side of h-alpha and finishes about 2A on the violet side and progresses in steps of about 0.1A.

The seeing was not very good the day the original sequence was taken. And there are still some aspects of the instrument setup that need to be nailed down more definitely. But this gives an idea of what even a 90 year-old instrument may be capable of.

Hi John,
Sorry for the late reply. I used a ZWO ASI 174.
