Appenzellersun, CaK filter change

Post by swisswalter »

Hi freaks

the summer was no good here, so very little chance to try out mods but now we had the second autumn day with sunshine :)

CaK full disk with UV/IR cut and K-line (23.09)

CaK full disk with IR-cut and K-line (24.09)

CaK full disk with additional UVB filter (baader venus filter) (24.09)
plusvenus_24092014_104956_bw.jpg
CaK full disk without K-line, only baader venus filter (24.09)

my conclusions: with my setup, it is of advantage to not use a UV/IR cut filter, instead I should use only an IR cut filter and replace the K-line double stack by a single UVB filter (Venus). Tests with a single K-Line have to be done though asap

Walter, just to be clear, you're using the yellow Lunt stack in combination with the filters mentioned here?
