Aperture fever and (im)possibilities of a mod

Post by HansH »

Hi all,

Next to Lunt 50 Ha + BF 600, I own a William Optics 81 GT Apo refractor.

My aperture fever pushing me to find out if the part of Lunt from internal etalon untill BF can be used on the WO 81 !
Will it be possible to get a functioning train ?
Would I need ERF ?
If yes possible, what would be needed for that to connect the proper way..

I absolutely know nothing abt threads and connectors (newbie excuses  ), so please explain me the "simple" way what would be needed in case a mod is an option.

Looking forward to mod specialists input.

Hans.

Ups, posted in the wrong section. a moderator can perhaps transfer to mod area ?

Alexandra:
Did check there, but my knowledge not up to standards, as I wish to avoid spending money on how I think it could work just like that.
Therefore looking for confirmations from specialists. Yip I still need to learn a lot, trying hard every day.
