Convert my William Optics ZS80IIED

Post by p1taylor »

Hi, Can I convert my William Optics ZS80IIED to a H-alpha solar scope with blocking filter straight through B1200S tube and a internal pressure tuner as it will be out in my observatory then I can control it with a PCUSB Pressure Tuner, scope as a focus motor on.

Hi Peter, yes in theory you can. What donor scope are you using for the Ha side of things?

My idea was to do it as Lunt do the pressure tuner after focuser as the Lunt LS60THa/B1200 is.
