AR2672 on Aug 29, AR 2674 on Aug 30 with the 300 mm scope at St Veran
Hi,
Here are some more images taken at St Veran on August 29 and 30.
My first successful image taken in K-line with the 300 mm scope in excellent seeing.
The intergranular bright spots are visible and the resolution a bit higher compared to G band thanks to the shorter wavelength.
The same area in G band, but with a seeing of lower quality.
Finally, the new AR2674 group on August 30 with average seeing and 540 nm filter:
More to come

Very nice images, Christian. Especially in a near K-line continuum!
Thanks for sharing.

I was at Griffith Observatory a few months ago. They had a wonderful exhibit about the sun with several images displayed. One was of sunspots in WL and the info claimed it was as detailed as possible. These (and several others like it on this forum) are FAR superior than the Griffith examples. Simply astonishing work here!

Amazing clarity, It would be interesting to see fly-by video from such high quality shots.
