New spots, new observations on june 8th

Post by Phil Rousselle »

Hi from France
A little group of sunspots is now crossing the solar disk
It's a good reason to install my SHG and take images
here is a set of SHGrams in Ca-K3 and H alpha lines. I hope that solar activity will increase a little bit

Excellent and sharp images!
How do you manage to tune the focus of the telescope, I wonder?

Thank you Peter, Wah, Highfnum and Alexandra

Wah, the focusing is not very easy because of my strange mechanism. The main lens does not move (it would be more simple) so several parts are tunable : the slit, collimator and camera lenses and camera or eyepiece
I use some kind of ruler to adjust parts at the good place. Sometime it woks
