Ha and Ca II K 2nd December 2020

Post by Carbon60 »

Hi all,

A couple of disks (Ha and Ca II K) and a closer view of AR2786 in Ha during a brief window of blue between the clouds.

It's nice to see such a busy Sun :)

The close view was really pushing the limits under the low Sun, poor seeing and breezy conditions, so not ideal.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Thanks Stu. The closeup is good considering the conditions but the full disks, all of them, are great!

Nice set of images, Stu. The more I look at your work, the more I'm thinking Ca-K.:) Thanks for the shares.

Many thanks, everyone. Much appreciated.

The weather could go either way this weekend. Currently Saturday morning is looking good, but then it can all change again, as just a few hours ago the forecast was far less optimistic. Best to open the curtains and take a look with the MK1 eyeball.... far more reliable :)

Hi John,
Ca K certainly gives an interesting view and it is so relatively easy to use compared with Ha.... no tuning.
