AR 2786 surrounded by waves (New images added on 6Dec)
3Dec - We had a brief moment of fair seeing this morning. It was good enough to catch AR 2786 surrounded by waves of plasma. Setup: C11 with an ARIES D-ERF, Daystar Chromosphere and Basler ace acA1920-155uc camera.
Processed in AS!3, ImPPG and minor level and contrast adjustment in PS. Main credit goes to the equipment.

Re: AR 2786 surrounded by waves
Thanks Pedro, Valery and Mark.
All credit goes to the equipment. The seeing condition was fair with tons of fleeting clouds. Very glad I caught this nice shot.
The active region is near the limb and the combination of all features gives us a sense of depth, a kind of 3-D effect. The darker filaments seem to be higher than the brighter areas. I must take more time to enjoy it and also figure out the high and low areas
I will go through the other video recordings to see if there are any other good ones.

That is a fabulous image, Alfred. It’s what large aperture solar imaging is all about. Nicely done!

Re: AR 2786 surrounded by waves (New image added on 5Dec)
This is another image of AR 2786, taken at about 8:10am on 3 Dec:
It is slightly more noisy compared to the first image. Again, besides processing in AS!3 and ImPPG, I only did minor level and contrast adjustment in Photoshop.

Re: AR 2786 surrounded by waves (Another new image added on 6Dec)
I found another 2 usable images from the 3 Dec session on AR 2790
Image One was taken at 8:19am:
Image Two was taken at 8:20 am
Which one do you prefer better?
The seeing had turned bad by the time I worked on it. Overall I am still quite please with this image.
