h-alpha disk, December 28th, 2020

Post by LTHB »

Today one five minute gap in the cloud cover allowed for one full disk video.

Image

This image is 1.5x drizzled (undrizzled version here: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/507 ... 4da4_o.jpg ).

Having a little time, but no more videos to process, I tried how to bring out the proms more, well, prominently, taking inspiration from Eric's, Brian's and Rainer's posts.

Thanks everybody for the kind words! (And for the SPoD... - I would have cleaned up the grey background on the left-hand side bit, if I had expected that...)

Alexandra, I'm in Hamburg, Germany, usually not the place to get solar images over the winter, but this year we've happily seen a few short gaps in the cloud cover. I hope for more...

Frank
