Some interesting clouds...start of monsoon

Post by KMH »

There were some very interesting mammatus clouds associated with storms near here on 6/16 (better late than never!). These storms heralded the very welcome (and early) start to monsoon season in the US southwest. There's also a bit of a rainbow the second one.

Wow!! these are so dramatic, what a view!! :hamster:

We never really get many storms here so I have very rarely seen them myself.
