Just seen on the Baader website that a new Herschel wedge is on the way. Stocks of the current model have run out at many stores. I remember the wait for the new Maxbright II binoviewer (and Morpheus 17.5mm eyepiece) was pretty long, so the new wedge may not be imminent, but it will be interesting to see what it is like. Can’t imagine it can be optically much better than one it replaces - maybe a shortened light path to help reach focus.
These things are no longer cheap. Currently the 2” Meade model is on sale for £449 in the UK, and the 2” Lunt an eye watering £549. Weak pound against a strong dollar not helping.

There’s nothing to show at the moment - just a message that a replacement for the current ‘Coolwedge’ is on the way
