Is this the infamous grid pattern?
When GreatAttactor (Filip) kindly put some of my images through IMPPG, he commented that the my 1600MM suffers from 'grid problem' so that the finest details cannot be sharpened optimally. I kinda did not know how he spotted it, or how I could spot it...but today, when doing synthetic flat, I saw this...is that 'it', and what can be done? I guess nothing...

Why are you doing a synthetic flat? Is the grid pattern there without it?

No, at least not that I could see it. There was a bit of a gradient that I wanted to kill (and did so fairly easily).marktownley wrote: ↑Sun Jul 02, 2023 7:50 am Why are you doing a synthetic flat? Is the grid pattern there without it?
