Daystar 60 solar scout chromosphere
Daystar 60 solar scout chromosphere
Hi everyone. I want to buy my first solar telescope and I'm undecided between the Lunt 50 BF600 and the Daystar 60 Solar Scout Chromosphere. What do you recommend? I read in some posts from a few years ago that the daystar could come out defective. Are these problems with older models or could I have a model with defects?

Hi there and welcome to the forum.
I would recommend the Lunt out of the 2 scopes you list. The Daystar is just too variable in terms of product quality.
