Full Disc Morning 03-22-2024

Post by pdmphoton »

Grabbing some images through high clouds this morning with the Lunt 80 double stack.
Captured with the 183mm in 16 bit mode.
Learning to better tune "on band" with some tips from Rainer.
No close ups with the 130 today as seeing did not support all that aperture.

Hi Paul,

Very good images except the inverted ones where a lot of details get lost as well as in the coloured ones the details get lost too.

Judging the normal B&W images you are in band IMHO

regards Rainer

Beautiful setup you've got there, Paul! The FD looks very good and as other already mentions I think the first positive version is the best, although the negative version brings out the details in the proms better.

Best regards,
Arne
