Reprocessed Monday Morning Disc

Post by pdmphoton »

After receiving some helpful feedback I reprocessed my oversharpened Morning Disc post.
I am posting them both here for comparison and hopefully helping those like me that are still learning the finer points of
Solar image processing. (Thank you Rainer!!)

Looks great, I like the reprocessed version more than the original (that one was still nice though!).

What did you change? Only ImPPG?

Hi Jan,

Yes I reduced the deconvolution sharpening in ImPPG and I am sure adjustments to the curve differed slightly.
Thanks,
Paulm

That's a great, and very active, disk! To my eye the new version is a big improvement - it looks much more natural.
