The sun in Ha from May 2nd, 2024

Post by Solarix »

Full sun view, surface details, prominences and a prominence animation
Unfortunately, we are currently having problems with Sahara dust in the atmosphere, which prevents good resolution.

All of these are really nice but my favorites are the natural-looking Ha red still image at the top and especially the prominence animation on the bottom. That plasma is swirling around like a fluid!

Two thumbs up!!
