Maier or Beloptik PST

I want to replace the eyepiece filter and I have my PST disassembled.
Beloptik website says I need to replace both barrel and eyepiece filters.
Maier is getting mixed results from users.
I don't know all the technical jargon... trying to learn... does the beloptik give a better image vs the Maier?

Nick,
The Maier ITF filter is a very good replacement for a damaged PST ITF.
It’s a drop in replacement.

39N84w,
The Beloptik site shows replacements for both the ITF filter and the final blocking/sort filter.
99% of the time it’s only the ITF which fails. You shouldn’t need to replace the blocking filter.

Beloptik only sell the ITF, their site states that the ITF will only work safely with the original block/sort filter from your BF unit, it's not a stand alone filter. The Beloptik filters are as good as the maier ones and are direct drop in replacements for the coronado ITF's.

Gus,
I misread the Beloptik page.
You are correct, they only supply the replacement ITF
