Unfortunately I was unable to join the meeting. Michael's presentation was excellent.

I heard a mention at the end of a Sol'Ex presentation. I have to say that I'm still struggling to get decent results with my Sol'Ex. I can explain how I use it if anyone is interested.

Regarding the Betelgeuse asteroid occultation we are planning to observe it in southern Portugal. We have a tradition of observing these occultations in Portugal (pro-am collaborations).

Great Zoom session yesterday, and nice to see everyone who made it online.

Michael, that was a great presentation. I am still flabbergasted at how precise the gears and mechanisms were when you consider the time persiod it was made and no comparable devices like this for close to two millennia :shock:

I really miss the meetings. I am never home on the weekends anymore to join in. Hopefully that will change soon.
