Well done. IMHO colouring too much kills details. I used to colour them too but nowadays I just present then in B&W

Making the most when the opportunity is available, well done Robert. Perhaps presenting both the monochrome and colour is an option.

An interesting contrast in opinions on colouring images. Something is clearly amiss!
For reference I am looking at a 38cm Ø image on my 32" 4k LG monitor as posted.
Ironically, I find the coloured image full of contrast and detail.
While the B&W looks almost devoid of any detail at all. It begs me to try sharpening!
Is this purely a function of personal colour vision? Or the display size and quality?

Edit: I tried playing with the Flickr image and was able to draw out the missing detail but lost the proms.
