First light Lunt60 MT
A new toy has come my way and, as I had never used a pressure tuner before, I was happy to do some cloud dodging this lunchtime.
I had a nice session using an 8mm TV plossl focused on AR3615 and some fine prominence's on the Eastern limb.
As I said I haven't used a PT before, only tilt tune etalons or my Quark so I was in single stack mode to get the hang of it. Think I am pretty on band, or as close as I can get by eye in these poor conditions (clouds whizzing through with 40mph winds), so I decided to grab some images of AR3615 as it was flaring away and I was getting phone alerts from the spaceweather app.
Lunt 60 MT, B1200, Camera ASI290MM with 1.5x barlow for ~0.92"/pixel all on a manual mount with slow-mo controls.
Captured in Firecapture, 16Bit mode to try and cope with the flaring.

Re: First light Lunt60 MT
Very nice view from the Lunt 60 MT. I am currently struggling to see through and between clouds with my Coronado SMII60 and my visual view of AR13615 looks very similar.
