Hello,
Just a quick head's up that there are some surplus fan-cooled Altair 183M cameras available on eBay (at least for UK folks, although maybe shipping is also possible) at sensible prices.

I have checked w Altair and these are legit. So unless your backfocus really cannot handle 4-5mm change, these may be of interest.
I've already got one coming - 2.4um pixels in a sensor size that is finally going to allow full disk imaging for my CaH setup. Hurray!
Cheers,
Vin

Finally got round to processing some test shots I took on 30th March (!) w this camera. It's legit! Nice to see the whole disk - although I need to remove those bunnies via flats. I typically do that via the out-of-focus method, but that doesn't really work with the full disk as the blackness of space then gets subtracted - how do people do flats for full disk?

Nice results vin. Cleaning the sensor window is so much easier than doing flats.
